Catfish Challenge Cup 2008 - 22nd May

After the resounding success of the 2007 Catfish Challenge I am pleased to announce we are holding another event on the 22nd May. Plus, one lucky angler can win a place on it too. For the chance at to fish with the likes of Mick Brown, Ian Welch, Steve Ringer and Neil Machin plus many more top anglers then please call mark for more info.

The format of the event will be similar to that of 2007, with the emphasis being on catching catfish. However, as an addition, for two and a half hours on the day, the tables will be turned, and the match lads will help the specimen lads in a normal style match.

The twelve match anglers listed below are all invited back with the addition of England international Wendy Lythgoe.

The event will consist of 14 top flight match-anglers coming to catch a cat. The match anglers will be paired with a specimen angler as many of them have never caught a catfish before.

Come along and watch the stars in a match, between 2pm and 4.30pm, on The Golden Lake. Then, why not meet the stars at Lakemore in person? Strictly between 5.30pm and 7.00pm in the main fishery car park, and the entry fee is just £1! Under 16s get in for free, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Furthermore, there will be a wonderful BBQ and various catfish products on show from Catfish Pro, Katmandoo and Catmaster Tackle.
